Sales Team Leader - Permanent- HX1
Based in Halifax and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the role is to:-

provide oversee the daily running of the Sales Department and ensure that orders and enquiries are completed as detailed within the Company Standards and within time constraints.
Efficiency and working to deadlines are key to this position as it is a pivotal role within the administration function.
Key Tasks
• To provide key back up and support for remote Account Managers. This support could be in the form of utilising resources or fulfilment of requests.
• To oversee the working of Sales Office and ensure full staffing levels are maintained.
• To provide and respond to Client telephone calls regarding sales queries on Prices, Specification, Specials, Customer Complaints and Returns.
• To control all Account Manager Drawing requests and ensure that these are passed to the Design department then completed on time as per the customers requirements. Any amendments to these drawings would also need to be controlled through this system.
• To undertake the creation of ad-hoc Sales Quotations from initial enquiries and return these on-time and in a form that will exceed the Customer expectations.
• To monitor and maintain Project records, where large projects over £10,000 in value need special attention.
• To ensure that Tender documents are passed to the National Sales Manager and that Tenders are completed, returned and arrive within deadline.
• To check that the inputting of order has been done correctly and all relevant fields are completed.
• To ensure that all Sales Quotes and Projects are kept up to date so that the Company is aware as to the latest stages of each.
In order to fulfil the role outlined above, it would be advantageous if the
candidate had experience of working within a customer focused environment,where Customer Satisfaction is paramount. You should have a professional and polite telephone manner and be a good communicator, being used to working within a team environment.
You will also need to be computer literate, specifically having knowledge of Excel spreadsheets to enable accurate manipulation of data although you will not be required to create the spreadsheet yourself.
Hours of work will be 9.00am – 5.00 Monday to Friday.
salary of between £16k - £18k (dependent upon experience) with a bonus of £250 per quarter for reaching Invoiced Sales Targets.
31 days annual holiday entitlement, including statutory days. A Contributory Company pension is available to join after 12 months.

Key duties will include:-

* Quote generation and order conversion
* All sales back office processing functions

Successful candidate will have overall responsibility to manage large projects from start to final hand over, dealing with a large variance of clients both technically & commercially. Production Operator/ Maintenance Fitter Perm Hx3
Leading manufacturers of building and landscape materials for the architectural, construction and DIY markets.
The above vacancy has arisen within the Companys division which produces a range of products for the construction industry.
The production site is on the outskirts of Halifax and the successful applicant will be required to operate production machinery as a member of a team producing products. In addition a variety of maintenance duties within the works will be involved, to include hydraulics, compressed air, vacuum pumps, water pumps, chain drives and gear boxes as well as preventative maintenance, so must be from a Mechanical Engineering background. Experience in these and related areas of maintenance including welding and fabrication with a good understanding of all current Health & Safety requirements is essential. A current license to drive heavy plant machinery would be an advantage. The site currently operates a night shift and the Production Operator / Fitter will be expected to be available to attend emergency breakdown repairs.
Candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative as well as demonstrate a highly motivated approach to the job. Applicants should be aware that this is a heavy industrial production site and you will be expected to carry out tasks of a highly physical nature.
Must have own transport.
Initially starting on days and moving onto nightshift.
