Electrical Engineer (Control Panels) Temp to Perm HX4 Responsible for: The design, programming, assembly, commissioning of all the companies control panels. Overall Purpose of Job: To design & create system specifications, designing control systems, programming PLC’s as well as on site commissioning. Using AutoCAD electrical and particular attention being paid to value engineered solutions and contractual deadlines. Provide Technical support as required to design / project teams. Key Responsibilities: v PLC programming, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. v HMI programming and generation of support documentation. v Testing of completed Panels prior to shipment to site. v Support production by taking hands on approach in assembly as well as managing the control panel department. v Training & monitoring assembly of wiring harnesses and loom assembly. v Plan & prepare production schematics, BOMs and parts lists and issue in line with requirements to meet programmed production dates. v Ensure that any information issued externally does not over expose the company. v Prepare post-contract design drawings and issue for client approval. v Support the Operations Manager and Production Manager in their duties. v Modify designs, as and when required, in a timely manner. v Ensure all drawings issued externally reflect the professionalism of the company. v Prioritise workload against known contractual deadlines. v Pay special attention to achieving ‘value engineered’ solutions. v Keep abreast of new statutory requirements affecting the design of the system. v Ensure all drawings issued externally are concise and of high clarity. v Support the company’s Quality System and Procedures. v Protect the company’s assets against loss, damage, misuse and negligence. v Assist the management in maintaining good communications and high morale. v Be an active member of ‘the 5S business improvement team’. SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE& QUALIFICATION 7.5t Delivery Driver/ Warehouse HX1 Temp to Perm Local company seeking an experienced delivery driver 7.5 ton/ warehouse person to deliver multi drops approx 20 in the North of England with a drivers mate. You will be responsible for checking loading of vehicle with relevant paperwork and safely load goods for delivery, drivers responsibility to ensure the vehicle has fuel, oil, water, correct tyre pressure and its general cleanliness & security. On deliveries you will responsible for correct paperwork, receipts and any cash/ cheques collected also your role as an ambassador for the company. When not delivering you will help in the warehouse in various duties. Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments. Carry out 1st off and final checks when necessary.Carry out patrol inspection and checking of special orders in various areas of the Company.Liaise and co-operate with Quality Management and standards bodies (e.g.ISO9001, UKAS etc) Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues). Assess the specifications of the company’s product and its suppliers, comparing with customer requirements. Define Quality Procedures in conjunction with the Quality Manager and operating staff.Setting up and maintaining controls and documented procedures. Writing Management Systems Reports. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.Reviewing existing policies and plan how to improve Quality Management Systems. Work closely with other Departments. Promoting Quality Improvement throughout the organisation.Meeting Q.A objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.Ensure Test Procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.Maintain and monitor all Quality related Non-Conformances ensuring effective remedial, corrective and preventative actions are taken.Hold regular NCR meetings with other Departments. Maintain and carry out Internal Audits when necessary. A current license to drive heavy plant machinery would be an advantage. Working on the day shift but must be flexible to cover emergency breakdown repairs as and when needed.
